DİYARBAKIR - A decision is being expected about the case of Journalist Kibriye Evren who is currently imprisoned in Diyarbakır Type D Prison for 11 months. The prosecutor demands a prison sentence of 20 years.
The hearing about Journalist Kibriye Evren who was taken into custody with 142 people including other journalists and politicians within the scope of an investigation called KCK/ Turkey Desk, with the accusation of 'being a member to an illegal organization' will be held in Diyarbakır 5th Criminal Court tomorrow.
Evren who made her last defense at the hearing held on July 18 in Diyarbakır said everywhere where a women goes through something is their ground for journalism and that she is doing journalism for women and she is arrested for them.
At the hearing tomorrow, the judges are expected to make a decision on Journalist Evren.
