The families who gather in front of People's Democratic Party (HDP) Gebze Provincial Organization building, wanted to go to the Gebze Prison with their vehicles.
The police stopped the families near the prison and told them they will take them under custody if they do not desperse. The mothers started a sit in after the police threatened them. The police blockaded the families and forced them back into their vehicles and removed them from the vicinity of the prison.
Police deleted the photos and the videos of the journalists following up on the action.
