İSTANBUL - HDP polling clerks and aldermens who were taken under custody in Istanbul yesterday have voted. Following the voting process, the deposition of the detainees started.
The People's Democratic Party (HDP) members who was taken into custody yesterday in Istanbul, 73 people municipal council candidates and observers of the polls are being held at the Istanbul Police Headquarters.Early this morning, the detainees were taken to the school where they are supposed to vote and were allowed to vote.
ACHIEVE STRIKES ASKED
After the voting process, the depositions of the detainees were taken by the police. A total of 73 people, including four children who were detained, were asked who organized the support actions for the hunger strike, if they know anyone in the Revolutionary Youth Movement (DGH), if they know HDP Hakkari deputy Leyla Güven personally, who started the hunger strike for the removal the isolation imposed on Abdullah Öcalan, and people in charge of responsible activities in the formation of HDP youth assemblies to protest prison conditions, if they have been instructed from anyone to support Leyla Güven,if there are any actions planned to protest these issues and if there are any organizational attack material (Molotov, EYP, Fireworks, Weapons, etc.) provided for any actions.
Those who gave the statement said that they had not received instructions from anyone, and that they had no information as to whether or not anyone had planned any actions.
