DİYARBAKIR- Cengaver Aykul who was exiled to Elazığ No2 Type T Prison from Patnos Type L Prison for going into a hunger strike and being kept in a cell is only bein given a glass of sugar water and a lemon.
 
The indefinite non-rotating hunger strike of the 30 prisoners who started a hunger strike with the demand of the termination of the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan is in its 14th day today. One of the hunger strikers Cengaver Aykul was exiled to Elazığ No2 Type T Prison from Patnos Type L Prison where he used stay and was put in a cell alone.
 
 
The basic needs of Aykul who was arrested in 2013 with the charge of 'propaganda of an illegal organization' and was sentenced to 17 years of prison time is not being met besides keeping him in a cell alone while he is in a hunger strike.
 
Father Abdullatif Aykul who visited his son 2 days ago said his son who has been in a hunger strike for 14 days have been battered and insulted by the guards.
 
Father Aykul also criticized the insensitivity of the society to the hunger strikes even though their demand is just. Aykul who stated that committees including parliamentarians must be established and mobilized regarding the hunger strikes immediately applied to Human's Rights Association and requested legal help.
