URFA- The political prisoners who are preparing for an indefiniate non-rotating hunger strike in Urfa No2 Type T Prison have sent a message:'We will break the isolation no matter what'

 

The indefinate non rotating hunger strike Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Co-chair and People's Democratic Party Hakkari Parliamentarian Leyla Güven have started is in its 45th day.The political prisoners who say 'Her demand is our demand' have turned their hunger strikes to indefinate non rotating hunger strikes from the prisons they are in.

A second group will start their hunger strikes on December 26 and a third group on January 5 to the hunger strike first started with 30 prisoners. 

 

The prisoners currently in a hunger strike in groups of seven in Urfa No2 Type T Prison will turn their hunger strike to an indefinate non rotating hunger strike on Januray 5 with Siverek Type T Prison.

 

The prisoners have sent their message to our agency : "We have ssupported Mrs. Leyla Güven's hunger strike saying 'her demand is out demand' from day one.Our 10 day hunger strikes are continuing in groups of 7.2 groups have completed their 10 day strikes.Now the third group is in a hunger strike. We will continue until our demand is met. There is no other way.We are committed to the end."
