İSTANBUL- Attorney Canan Arın who examplifies the government's fear of women with the police intervention to the women in Taksim on November 25th, said: " A new resistance began in the women's front."
Arın who underlined that it is not possible to talk about a legal system in Turkey, said: " There are no more judges left. Process of a lawsuit is gratuitously long. Existing judges are too young. They are students who graduated from law schools with a few pages of xerox readings. Everyone who is anyone opened up private law collages. The level is too low. Besides all these, AKP governmentare destroying the women's rights day by day with new laws and law decrees."
Arın who says Turkey is a 4 on a 10 point scale regarding human rights, added that numbers keep dropping day by day. Arın stating that this situation makes her sad, nut that doesn't mean she's giving up the struggle, said: " We should stand firm in our ranks and never give up the struggle."
