Fırat News Agency (ANF) quoted the statement of the HPG Press Liaison Centre on the balance sheet of the war in February. In the statement, it was stated that Turkey carried out a total of 11 thousand 585 attacks on the HPG and its regions, which are under a ceasefire, from both air and land within a month.

 

It was stated in the statement that in March, chemical weapons were used 11 times, banned weapons 9 times and drones loaded with explosives 9 times to attack the war tunnels in the Media Defence Areas. At the same time, the resistance areas were bombed 169 times by warplanes, 98 times by attack helicopters and 11 thousand 289 times by heavy weapons, artillery and howitzers.

 

HPG stated that they intervened against the attacks on the basis of legitimate defence.
