ISTANBUL - TJK-E announced that more than 20 thousand letters have been sent to the CPT for the physical freedom of Abdullah Öcalan.
The Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe (TJK-E) made a statement on the letters sent to the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) regarding the isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan and his physical freedom. TJK-E stated that in less than 3 months, thousands of women from many countries participated in the campaign to send letters to the CPT, which they started on April 19.
Announcing the completion of the campaign, TJK-E stated that more than 20 thousand letters were sent to the CPT as women and drew attention to the fact that there has been no news from Abdullah Öcalan for 40 months and that the CPT must fulfill its responsibilities.
