ANKARA - Journalist-writer Hüseyin Aykol, who applied to become a member of the DEM Party, learned that he was made an AKP member without his knowledge.
Journalist-writer Hüseyin Aykol, who applied for party membership to the Etimesgut District Organization of the People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), learned that he had been made a member of the AKP without his knowledge, with the response "We cannot make you a member of our party because you appear to be a member of another party."
Thereupon, Aykol checked his party membership via E-devlet and saw that he had been a member of the AKP Etimesgut District Organization since the beginning of 2024.
Aykol immediately terminated his AKP membership via E-devlet.
