The destruction caused by trustees in Amed Metropolitan Municipality, which was won by the People's Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), began to come to light. Co-chairs Serra Bucak and Doğan Hatun announced a while ago that the total of the general debt and the debt of DİSKİ, which is affiliated with the municipality, is 3 billion 345 million Liras.

 

While studies on debt determination were continuing, it was revealed that hundreds of thousands of Liras were spent under the name of "representation, hosting, ceremony, fair and organization expenses" before the election. The trustee administration spent 250 thousand 26.32 Liras for "representation, hosting, ceremony, fair and organization" in January.

Expenditure items are as follows: 15 kilos of walnuts, 18 kilos of cashews, 3 packs of chocolate, 10 colognes (400 ml each), 25 kilos of Turkish Coffee, 15 packs of Nescafe Gold, 18 kilos of Hazelnuts, 20 packs of tea, 5 kilos of coffee cream, 20 kilos of ground coffee, 18 kilos of almonds, 20 kilos of Pistachios, 35 packs of Çaykur tea, 20 packs of wrapped candies (5 kilos each), 15 kilos of double roasted Turkish delight, 20 kilos of terebinth coffee, 850 bottles of juice, 1,500 sodas,

60 packets of herbal tea and 20 packets of service napkins (lux).

 

In February and March, two separate expenditures were made on similar items of the same weight and quantity. 250 thousand 586.85 Liras in February; In March, 267 thousand 265.49 Liras was spent. Thus, 769 thousand 876.66 Liras was paid for snacks, chocolates and drinks.

 

FORMER TRUSTEE WAS ON THE AGENDA WITH KADAYIF

 

The trustees appointed to the municipality in 2016 also came to the fore with their spending on pistachio kadayıf (dessert).
