ERZIROM – The prisoners, who sent a holiday message during their meeting with their lawyers in Erzurum Dumlu No. 1 High Security Prison, said that the growing struggle will break the isolation.
Political prisoners who have been in action since November 27, 2023, within the scope of the "Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan, political solution to the Kurdish issue" campaign, took their rotating hunger strike actions to a new stage as of April 4. At this stage, the prisoners decided to boycott the courts and avoid phone calls and family meetings.
During their meeting with the lawyers of the prisoners in Erzurum Dumlu No. 1 High Security Prison, Prisoners congratulated eid of the families on Justice watch and PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan. The prisoners sent the following message through their lawyers: “We salute you with the strength of the struggle. We celebrate the eid of everyone who is currently struggling in every aspect of life, especially Leader Apo. The struggle of our precious mothers and families gives us strength and morale. We salute this honorable struggle of our families. Our growing struggle inside and outside will break the isolation against Leader Apo. We salute all our people.”
