The first hearing of the case brought against journalist Neşe Toprak and her 17 colleagues, who are being held in Diyarbakır Women's Closed Prison, will be held on July 11 at the Diyarbakır 4th High Criminal Court. In the indictment, which was prepared with the allegation of "being a member of a terrorist organization", the news that Toprak presented in the program "Art Viewpoint" was made the subject of accusation.

It was demanded that she be punished with the allegation of "being a member of an organization" on the grounds that he was involved in the organization and acted knowingly and willingly in line with the purpose of the organization.

 

The indictment also included the allegations of the anonymous witness, whose statements were shown as "evidence" in the decision to block the treasury aid of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP).
