NEWS CENTER - AFAD announced that the death toll in Maraş which is the epicenter of earthquakes rose to 40,642.
 
AFAD President Yunus Sezer made a new statement regarding the death toll in the earthquake. Sezer announced that the death toll rose to 40,642. Sezer said: “Search and rescue efforts will be largely terminated as of tomorrow evening. There is a great concentration in Hatay, nearly 13 thousand search and rescue personnel are working there."
