NEWS CENTER- While it was announced that rockets were fired at Öncüpınar Border Post in Kilis and 8 security guards were injured, it was stated that 4 rockets fell on Karkamış.

 

A rocket was fired at the Öncüpınar Border Gate area in Kilis. "As a result of the attack, 8 security personnel, including 1 inspector and 6 police officers, were injured," the Ministry of Interior said.

 

In the explosion that occurred with the the rocket, pieces of shrapnel hit 1 soldier and 7 policemen. It was learned that many ambulances and security forces were sent to the region and the injured were taken to Kilis Professor Doctor Alaattin Yavaşça State Hospital.

 

After the attack, security measures on the border line were increased to the highest level.

 

4 ROCKETS HIT KARKAMIŞ

 

It was stated that after the Öncüpınar Border Gate region, 4 rockets hit Karkamış district of Antep in the evening.

 

An investigation was started in the empty area where the rockets hit.
