Gunman tried to enter courthouse with pump rifle in Deniz Poyraz hearing

İZMİR - A person tried to enter the courthouse with a pump rifle during the Deniz Poyraz murder hearing. Poyraz was killed by a gunman in the İzmir HDP Provincial Organisation building. 
 
The 4th hearing of the trial against Onur Gencer, who carried out an armed attack on the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) İzmir provincial building on June 17, 2021 and murdered Deniz Poyraz, is being held at the İzmir 6th High Criminal Court. While the trial was being held, an armed person tried to enter the courthouse. It was heard that the person in question came in front of the courthouse and said "I will kill you all" after pulling the trigger.
 
POLICE DID NOT INTERVENE
 
The police did not intervene the person who had a pump rifle in his hand until he reached the door of the courthouse. The people who came to the hearing reacted to this situation were battered by the police. 
 
The gunman was later detained.
