URFA - Continuing her struggle for justice in front of the Urfa Courthouse, a libel suit was filed against Emine Şenyaşar with the claim that she 'insulted' AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız, whose relatives and boduyguards killed Şenyaşar's husband and two sons.
The Justice Watch carried out by the Şenyaşar family has reached day 376. The sit-in was launched on March 9, 2021 by Emine Şenyaşar, who lost her husband and two sons as a result of the attack carried out by AKP MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız's bodyguards and relatives in the Suruç province of Urfa, on June 14, 2018. The mother and son continues the sit-in at their house today, because the courthouse is closed at weekends.
The indictment prepared by the Urfa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on the grounds that Emine Şenyaşar 'insulted' AKP MP İbrahim Halil YIldız, was accepted by the Urfa 4th Criminal Court of First Instance.
