KARS- Only the immediate family members of Vedat Erkmen who died in prison was allowed to attend the funeral ceremony.

 

Vedat Erkmen, who died suspiciously yesterday in Tekirdağ No. 2 Type F Prison, was buried in Pazarcix (Dağpınar) town of Digor district of Kars. Only the immediate family members of Vedat Erkmen who died in prison was allowed to attend the funeral ceremony. The body, which was brought to Kars from Istanbul, accompanied by the police, was brought to the town of Dağpınar early in the morning. While all entrances and exits of the town were blockaded by the police and soldiers, the funeral was taken to the town cemetery under police control. It was noted that only the immediate family members were allowed to enter the cemetery, while police and soldiers were waiting in the town after the burial ceremony.
