Şenyaşar Family: We will get over this darkness together

URFA - Demanding justice with his mother in front of the Urfa Courthouse for 168 days, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "Every minute we spent here is a stain on the justice system of Turkey."
 
The sit in Şenyaşar family refers to as the 'Justice Watch' started by Emine Şenyaşar who lost her husband and two sons in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız and Ferit Şenyaşar who survived the attack wounded is on its 168th day today. Arriving at the court house early in the morning, mother and son started the sit in for the day.
 
'THIS CRUELTY MUST COME TO AN END' 
 
Underlining that they have been sitting in front of the court house for 168 days demanding justice, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "All peoples from Edirne to Kars acknowladged our rightful cause. Those who could, came and supported us here. Those who can not come called us in solidarity or got in touch with us through social media and told that they stand with us. There is a Minister of Justice in the capital city of Turkey and he watches this unlawfullness without doing anything. It is impossible he does not know. This is a stain on the justice system of Turkey.  We want the Minister of Justice to rectify this injustice as soon as possible. We will soon go to Ankara, to the Ministry of Justice. This cruelty must come to an end. My mother is sitting here everyday despite her old age. We don't accept this unlawfullness."
 
CALL TO THE CHIEF PROSECUTOR
 
Pointing to the Chief Public Prosecutor who came to the court house while he was speaking to us, Şenyaşar said: "The chief prosecutor sees us here everyday and walk past us. If Turkey is ruled by law, there are three people slaughtered in a state hospital. Not doing something about it is unacceptable. Those who murdered them are still free."
 
JUSTICE FOR EVERYONE
 
Şenyaşar family later shared the following message on their social media account: "Our struggle against those who hide behind the President and use the judiciary as a tool to ensure injustice continues on its 168th day. We promise that we will get over this darkness together. Justice for everyone."
