ANKARA- HDP Spokesperson Ebru Günay stated that they will strengthen the anti-fascist bloc in the face of the attacks against their parties and said: “You cannot criminalize the HDP over the those who seek rent but cannot find the rent they are looking for. Let us tell you if you are looking for a bond between the HDP and some other organization, our only and strongest bond is with our people ”.
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Spokesperson Ebru Günay made evaluations about the agenda in a press statement she held at the party headquarters. Speaking on the anniversary of the 8th anniversary of the HDP, Günay said: "We gathered to build a democratic future that aims to make the people of Turkey breathe 8 years ago and established our party with the decision of the Peoples' Democratic Congress (HDK). We set out to be the party of multitude not monism.
Commenting on the HDP being criminalized by certain circles, Günay said: "You cannot criminalize the HDP over the those who seek rent but cannot find the rent they are looking for. Let us tell you if you are looking for a bond between the HDP and some other organization, our only and strongest bond is with our people. We are fully determined that we will defeat fascism by strengthening the anti-fascist bloc against all attacks. By continuing to fight against isolation, we will definitely bring peace, democracy and justice to this country. On this occasion, we invite all our friends to our celebration in Istanbul on Sunday."
