Attorneys appeal to visit Öcalan rejected

İSTANBUL - The application of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan's lawyers to meet with their clients was rejected.

Rezan Sarıca, Raziye Turgut, Serbay Köklü and İbrahim Bilmez, the lawyers of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan, who is detained in İmralı High Security F-Type Prison, applied once again to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to meet with their clients tomorrow. The application made by the lawyers was rejected on the grounds of the 6-month lawyer visitation ban of the Bursa 2nd Execution Judge on September 23, on Öcalan and the other 3 detained people.
 
Öcalan was able to meet with his lawyers Rezan Sarıca and Newroz Uysal on May 2-22, June 12-18 and August 7, 2019, after 8 years.
