Yaşar Kırmızı releases after 32 years

ELAZIG- Yaşar Kırmızı, who was released from prison after 32 years, was welcomed by his friends.
 
Yaşar Kırmızı (56), who was detained in Riha (Urfa) on 28 October 1992 and sentenced to life imprisonment by the Diyarbakır State Security Court (DGM) for "disrupting the unity and integrity of the state", was released from Karakoçan Type K1 Closed Prison. During his 32-year imprisonment, Kırmızı went prisons in Amed, Dîlok, Bolu and Xarpêt.
 
Kırmızı was welcomed by Musa Şanak, a 30-year prisoner who was released on August 16 and his relatives and many friends. Kırmızı was greeted with chants and applause at the prison gate. After the welcome, Kırmızı set out to go to his hometown, Serêkaniyê (Ceylanpınar) district of Riha.
