NEWS CENTER – Tens of thousands of people from different countries of Europe met in Cologne for the freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan .
Tens of thousands of people gathered in Cologne, Germany, to demand the physical freedom of PKK Leader Abdullah Ocalan , who has been held in isolation in Imralı Island Prison for 25 years. With the participation of world-famous public figures, a global campaign "Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan , a political solution to the Kurdish issue" was launched on October 10, with statements made in 74 different centers around the world, with reference to Ocalan 's 74 years of age. Tens of thousands of people from different countries of Europe came to Cologne for the "Great March" organized within the scope of the campaign.
Kurds and the supporters came together for the organized march in the Siegburger Str Deutzer Wert area by the Rhine River since the early hours of the morning.
After the mass, they marched over the Severinsbrücke Bridge behind a giant poster of Abdullah Ocalan . The march, where banners reading "Freedom for Ocalan " were carried in different languages, was marked by reactions to the February 15 international conspiracy, which its 25th anniversary.
The mass continues their march, condemning the conspiracy with slogans such as "A thousand greetings to İmralı", "Bijî Serok Apo (Long live Leader Apo)", "Bî serok jiyan nabe (No life without the Leader)".
