URFA - Continuing the Justice Watch, Şenyaşar family said: "We will hold them to account as long as we live and breathe."

 

The sit in Şenyaşar family refers to as the 'Justice Watch' started by Emine Şenyaşar who lost her husband and two sons in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız and Ferit Şenyaşar who survived the attack wounded is on its 282nd day today. Mother and son started the sit in a little later than usual due to the weekly phonecall with adıl Şenyaşar who is being held in solitary confinement for the last three years in Elazığ Prison. Mother Emine Şenyaşar could not make it to the courthouse yesterday due to her health issues. Mother and son came to the courthouse after having a phonecall with Fadıl Şenyaşar and started the sit in for the day. Stating that his brother was in good spirits, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "He said he will be released when the justice is served. He is in alt. He says hi to everyone who asks about him." 

 

The family shared the following message from their Twitter account: "We will hold them to account as long as we live and breathe. We will leave this courthouse with a victory. Justice will prevail against the 'law of the superior'."
