NEWS CENTER - 22 peshmerga and 5 civillians lost their lives in the increasing attacks of ISIS in Federated Kurdistan Region.
ISIS attacks against the Federated Kurdistan Region have increased lately. ISIS attacked peshmerga points and villages close to the border line in many places, especially in Kirkuk, Mosul and Sulaymaniyah. Since November 10, 27 people, 22 of whom were from peshmerga forces and 5 civilians, have lost their lives in the attacks carried out by ISIS.
ISIS attacked the peshmerga forces stationed on Qereselim Hill in the Şêx Bizêni district of Kirkuk last night. After the peshmerga forces responded, clashes broke out in the region. It was announced that 4 peshmerga lost their lives and one peshmerga was injured in the clashes.
It was stated that ISIS members fled the area after the attack. The names of the peshmerga who lost their lives are as follows: Mesud Talat, Nehro Naci, Hejar Celal and Rekan Tofik.
ISIS ATTACKS
On November 10, 2 people lost their lives in the attack in the town of Amirli in Xurmato.
On November 28, 5 peshmerga lost their lives in the attack carried out in the Kuleco town of Kifri district of Sulaymaniyah.
In the attack on the town of Kifri on 29 November, 3 peshmerges lost their lives and 2 were injured.
On December 2, 10 peshmerga and 3 civilians lost their lives and 5 people, including 4 peshmerga, were injured in the attack on the village of Xidircice in the Karaçox Mountain region of Mahmur district of Mosul.
