URFA - Addressing the authorities ahead of the anniversary of the foundation of the republic, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "No one should dare to talk to us about the rule of law while this mother is still weeping for justice!"
The sit in Şenyaşar family refers to as the 'Justice Watch' started by Emine Şenyaşar who lost her husband and two sons in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız and Ferit Şenyaşar who survived the attack wounded is on its 234th day today. Arriving at the court house early in the morning the family started the sit in for the day with the banner written, 'We just want justice'.
Stating that the sit in they started continues for the last 8 months, Şenyaşar said: "State officials and ministers will go before the cameras and speak about democracy and justice. A mother has been weeping here in front of the court house for months. No effictive investigation was launched into the murders of her family. No one was arrested. No state authority made a statement. Those who committed this crime hides behind the government. As long as this mother sits here weeping no one should dare to speak about the rule of law to us.
TOMORROW MIGHT BE TOO LATE
Şenyaşar family shared the following from their Twitter account: "As long as this cruelty continues at the gates of the Urfa Courthouse, it will decay those who rule first. Tomorrow might be too late! Justice now! Justice for everyone!"
