URFA - An investigation has been launched against Ferit Şenyaşar for his statement in which he said, "They are afraid of the palace".
Emine Şenyaşar had lost her husband and two sons as the result of the attack carried out by AKP MP Halil İbrahim Yıldız, his guards, and relatives on 14 June 2018 in the Suruç district of Urfa. Şenyaşar said in an interview that he spoke about the AKP deputies and he was accused of 'insulting the president' because he said 'AKP MPs are afraid of the palace' and added, "I am asking to the public opinion today if they can see any insult in this sentence. We know they want us to end this sit in and leave this court house. We are determined. We will not leave here before justice is served. They should either kill us too or provide justice."
