NEWS CENTER - Nazira Gewriye a member of the delegation to Moscow and Washington said that talks in positive adding that more talks re to be held abroad in coming days.

 

On 30 September a delegation of Syria's Democratic Council, the SDC, met Joey Hood the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affair and Ethan Godrich Deputy Assistant Secretary Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs.

 

Nazira Gowriye member of the delegation and co-chair of the Executive Council of the Jazira Region of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria was interviewed by ANHA.

 

Nazira said '' we met a number of the congressmen and senators from both parties. Generally the meetings were good where we discussed the obstruction posed to the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria politically, economically and even on security. The figures we met showed positive responses''. Nazira added high profile meetings were also took place. 

 

On the political arena Nazira said that officials in Washington said they would proceed to support the Syrian Democratic Forces and delivering humanitarian aid to the region. Adding the fight against ISIS and terror '' would continue with the support given to the SDF''.  

 

On the political solution to the crisis in Syria Nazira added they told officials in Washington '' were assured that for finding a solution to the whole of Syria all international powers active in Syria ought to come to terms and support should be given to the AANES that could be a model to the solution in Syria''. 

 

Nazira confirmed for meeting peace all components of the region should give support to their project '' we are all hope that steps be taken for the benefits of the region and the most important of all is to preserve peace and security in the region and support given to SDF be continued and we all should bear responsibility to find a solution''.
