A young man named Suat Şahin (21) who stood up to the police who wanted to search him, and run him through General Information Gathering System (GBT) in the Seyitler District of Batman, was shot by the police. According to the information received, the police, who came to the neighborhood early in the morning, wanted to search Şahin. When Şahin did not allow this, he was targeted and shot with a fire arm. The police, who came to the neighborhood with civilian vehicles, shot Şahin in the leg and kidney.
INCIDENT PROVED BY VIDEO FOOTAGE
The police, who injured Şahin, handcuffed him from behind and took him to a private hospital in the city in a plain police vehicle. While the incident took place early in the morning, the police called the family in the evening and gave information about the incident. While Şahin was fighting for his life, we obtained a video footage of the incident. According to the video footage, Şahin was on the ground surrounded by police officers. A while later, Şahin was put into a car which drove away."
