ANKARA - Following the declaration of 11 principles announced by the HDP to achieve a democratic and social republic, the party shared the hashtag #DemokrasiyeÇağı ( Call to Democracy ) and called for a Twitter storm.
The Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), which announced the "Call to Democracy, Justice, and Peace" Declaration, which consists of 11 principles regarding the current problems, solutions, and its interlocutors in Turkey, started Twitter storm with the hashtag "#DemokrasiyeÇağrı "
HDP said the following from its Twitter account regarding the declaration, "Our people deserves hope, joy and peace, not war, poverty and a dark future. It is time to unite our voices to build the future together" with the hashtag #DemokrasiyeÇağrı.
Within the scope of the Twitter storm, the social media accounts of deputies, Central Executive Board (MYK) members, Party Assembly members, Provincial and District administrators, even the party's imprisoned names started using the hashtag.

HDP's former Co-Chair Figen Yüksekdağ, who is currently being held in Kocaeli Kandıra No 1 Type F Prison, shared the following from her Twitter account: "We have announced our #DemokrasiyeÇağrı declaration, which will pave the way to democracy, peace, and freedoms”
