NEWS CENTER - The dress sent to imprisoned DTK Co-chair Leyla Güven was not given on grounds of its colours. Güven's daughter announced the situation from Twitter and said: "A seperatist dress was deactivated before it could get into the prison campus!"
After the disciplinary punishment given to Leyla Güven in Elazig Women's Closed Prison for singing a song in Kurdish, today a dress brought by her relatives were not given to her on grounds of the colours of the dress.
Güven's daughter Sabiha Temizkan announced the situation from her social media account. Temizkan shared the photo of the dress and wrote, "This dress belonging to my mother Leyla Güven was not allowed in prison. Hold on, I'll explain why; IT'S COLOURS. Yes, a seperatist dress was deactivated before it could get into the prison campus!"
Previously an investigation was launched against Leyla Güven, who has been imprisoned since December 2020, and 8 female prisoners, because of singing in Kurdish.
