DİYARBAKIR - Police attacked the attorneys of the case and the observers following it during the hearing of TJA Spokesperson Ayşe Gökkan and removed everyone from the hall.
The 22nd hering of the case against Free Women's Movement (TJA) Spokesperson Ayşe Gökkan in which Gökkan is accused of 'being a member of a terrorist organization' and 'managing a terrorist organization' was held at Diyarbakır 9th High Criminal Court. The hearing was being observed by many women activists, political party represantatives, Gökkan's family and attorneys and Diyarbakır Bar President Nahit Eren. Everyone observing the hearing was attacked by the police and removed from the hall.
In response to the reactions of the observers, police attacked the lawyers and the families, trying to detain on of the relatives of Gökkan.
Ayşe Gökkan's elder sister Mihrican Gökkan was taken to hospital as a result of the attack.
The hearing resumes after the attorneys were allowed back in the hall.
