NEWS CENTER - Families of human rights defenders arrested by the KDP protested the Prime Minister of the Federated Kurdistan Region, Mesrur Barzani, in front of the Hewler Courthouse.
Families of human rights activists Mesud Elî Haci, Bendewar Eyub, Karger Ebas Elî and Şêrwan Teha Emin, who were arrested by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in June 2020 and started a death fast against rights violations, made a statement in front of the Hewler Courthouse.
Reacting to the fact that they were prevented from meeting with their relatives and that they were not released in the second hearing, the families protested the Federal Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani.
The families stated that their relatives were fighting for human rights and demanded their release as soon as possible.
