DİYARBAKIR- While the questioning of 58 people detained in Diyarbakır continue, JinNews reporter Beritan Canözer was released after her statement was taken at the police station.
Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued warrants for the detention of 88 people within the scope of the investigation carried out with the allegation of "making propaganda for a terrorist organization" on the grounds of their posts on their social media accounts. In the police raids on 104 addresses in the city on 13 August, 58 people, including JinNews reporter Beritan Canözer and journalist Kadir Bayram, were detained. While the lawyers could not access the details of the investigation file due to the confidentiality order on the file, 58 people gave their statements at the Diyarbakır Security Directorate for 4 days before appearing in court.
While the deposition of other detainees continued, JinNews reporter Beritan Canözer was released after her statement was taken.
