URFA - Staging a sit in demanding justice for 149 days, Emine Şenyaşar was not able to come to the court house today to do the sit in due to her health issues. Staging the sit in alone today, Ferit Şenyaşar, her son, said her mother could not handle the tyranny anymore.
The sit in Şenyaşar family refers to as the 'Justice Watch' started by Emine Şenyaşar who lost her husband and two sons in the attack carried out by the relatives and bodyguards of AKP Urfa MP İbrahim Halil Yıldız and Ferit Şenyaşar who survived the attack wounded is on its 149th day today. 65 year old Emine Şenyaşar could not make it to the court house today due to her health issues.
While Emine Şenyaşar continues the sit in in her home in Suruç, Ferit Şenyaşar showed up at the court house early this morning like they did every morning since 149 days, despite the very hot weather.
MY MOTHER CAN NOT HANDLE THIS TYRANNY ANYMORE
Underlining that they won't step back, Ferit Şenyaşar said: "This is the 149th day of the sit in. Today I am here alone. It is very hot in Urfa and my mother is having health issues due to the hot weather. She can not handle this tyranny anymore."
UNTIL WE GET JUSTICE
Reminding that his family was slaughtered in the Suruç State Hospital on June 14, 2018, Şenyaşar said: "It's been more than 3 years. There still is a confidentiality order on the file. Those who committed these murders walks around freely among us. The prosecutor's see this but they are not in any kind of effort to catch the perpetrators. We will have justice. We will not lose hope. We will be here until we get justice."
