KONYA - Mehmet Altun, who murdered 7 members of the Dedeoğulları family, has not been caught yet 5 days after the massacre. Family lawyer Abdurrahman Karabulut said that the failure of the perpetrator to be caught is an indication that the attack was organized, planned and not carried out by a single person.
Killer Mehmet Altun who gathered the whole family in the yard in Meram district of Konya, killed Yaşar Dedeoğulları (65), Serap Dedeoğulları (36), Serpil Dedeoğulları (32), Sibel Dedeoğulları (30), İpek Dedeoğulları (57), Metin Dedeoğulları ( 45) and Barış Dedeoğulları (35). Killer Altun then set the house on fire and fled.
NOT CAUGHT FOR 5 DAYS
13 people were detained within the scope of the investigation carried out by the Konya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, but even though 5 days have passed since the massacre, the murderer Altun has still not been caught.
SECURITY FOOTAGE WAS NOT GIVEN TO THE LAWYERS OF THE FAMILY
In the footage revealed by Dedeoğulları on one of the cameras installed in their house for security reasons, Altun murders 7 members of the family that he brought together at gunpoint in the yard of the house. The family lawyer has not yet been informed by the prosecutor's office about the other two camera recordings in the family's house. The video recordings were not shown to the lawyers who met with the Konya Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Only the details of the analysis made by the prosecutor's office were explained to the lawyers.
FOOTAGE WAS SENT TO SABAH NEWSPAPER AND ATV!
Family lawyer Abdurrahman Karabulut, who requested the images within the scope of the investigation, reacted to the fact that the images were given to Sabah and ATV groups before they were given them. Speaking to the Mesopotamia Agency (MA), Karabulut said: “They are trying to manipulate the society to think that my clients attacked the murderer and he wanted to protect himself. There's 45 minutes of footage. The killer first comes to the scene and speaks. According to the Attorney General, he then arrives with a gun and gasoline and murders the family. But it is unscrupulous and immoral to try to create a perception as if it was the Dedeoğulları family attacked Altun.”
