As a result of the racist attack of Mehmet Altun on 30 July in the Meram district of Konya, 7 members of the Dedeoğulları family were killed. The attacker Altun, who was identified in a security camera footage 5 days after the attack, has not been caught yet, and 14 people have been detained within the scope of the investigation. It is expected that 14 people, whose deposition proceedings are continuing at the police station, will be brought to the prosecutor's office today.

ESCAPED TO THE MOUNTAINS
On the other hand, it was learned that the murderer Altun rented a vehicle and left it at the foot of the Taurus Mountains, 140 kilometers from the city center, after the attack. It was stated that the search for Mehmet Altun was carried out in the region.
It was also learned that Mehmet Altun's wife, who was detained after the incident, said in her first statement that she did not know he was going to target the family, and that her husband sometimes rented a car to drive around and sometimes go to the mountains in Bozkır district.
