The Kurdistan Human Rights Network, which informs and documents about human rights violations in Iran, announced the torture incident against border traders on the border line. 5 border traders who were stopped at the Saqiz Checkpoint under the command of Sadıkzade, near the Îsa Golik village on the border line of the Turkish city of Çaldıran, were subjected to severe torture. 5 Kurdish border traders named Cemal Hesenpûr, Baran Hesenpûr, Hiseyn Feyrûzî, Welî Muqîmî and Hemîd Abdullahzade, were made to remove their clothes and were subjected to severe torture.
THEY TOLD WHAT THEY WENT THROUGH
The border traders told what they have been through with a video they took. The traders told that the soldiers first allowed them to pass but tortured them later. The video shows that some of the men were only able to walk with the help of their friends.
According to the information given by local sources; Hemîd Abdullahzade, who was seriously injured was treated at the Qamer Benî Haşim Hospital while 4 other traders were treated at the Çaldıran Hospital.
