Relatives of the prisoners who stated that ISIS members were deliberately placed between the wards where political prisoners were held, said that the threats of ISIS members have been added to the recently increasing violations of rights in prison. Stating that they were worried about these practices and threats, the relatives of the prisoners demanded that ISIS members be taken out of the corridors where the political prisoners are held.
WHAT'S AN ARAB BELT?
In order to change the demographic structure in Northern and Eastern Syria, where Kurds live, the "Arab Belt", which started to be discussed after 1962, was gradually implemented over time. Thousands of Arab families were placed in some areas to separate the places where Kurds are located. What is being done in prisons is the same practice.
