NEWS CENTER - While the first phase of the "Humanitarian and Security Operation" launched in Hol Camp was completed, it was announced that 125 ISIS members were captured in the operation.
Northern and Eastern Syria Internal Security Forces Spokesperson Eli El Hesen made statements regarding the "Humanitarian and Security Operation" they started in Hol Camp. General Spokesperson of the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) Gabriel Kino, Spokesperson for the People's Defense Units (YPG) Nuri Mehmud, and Member of the General Command of the Cizre Region Assembly Ewinar Derîk were present at the press release.
Stating that the operation created an atmosphere of stability in the Hol Camp, Eli El Hesen said that international support is needed for the stability and peace to be permanent.
THE FIRST STAGE IS COMPLETED
In the continuation of the statement, the following was stated: "As the Internal Security Forces, the first phase of the Humanitarian and Security Operation, which was launched on March 28 with the support of the QSD, YPJ/YPG, is completed. In the Hol Camp, where ISIS cells were activated, great efforts were made to restore the peace and stability of the immigrants.
More than 5 thousand members participating in the operation took on the task of standing against this international problem that exceeds our strength and capability. During the operation, our forces paid great attention to respect for human rights, especially towards children representing a large part of the camp. Children in the camp face the threat of terrorism that ISIS cells are trying to spread among children and civilians.
MORE THAN 47 MURDERS COMMITTED
As we mentioned before, we started this operation for the moral, legal, humanitarian, and safety of the camp residents. Ensuring camp security is the necessity of humane living conditions. Hol Camp is one of the largest and most dangerous camps in the world, with more than 60 thousand people from 57 different countries, mostly from ISIS families. At the same time, many members of the ISIS terrorist organization entered the camp as civilians, trying to achieve the appropriate atmosphere to reorganize in the camp and to continue the terror that spread around the world. The gang members have committed more than 47 murders inside the camp since the beginning of this year.
25 ISIS MEMBERS CAPTURED
We hear that the first phase of the Humanitarian and Security Operation, which lasted for 5 days, is over today. Our forces and other forces professionally participated in the operation in all areas. After all necessary precautions were taken, a total of 125 ISIS cell members, 15 of whom were women and 20 of whom were responsible for the murders in the camp, were caught. At the same time, as a result of a search, military equipment and electronic equipment used in the preparation of mines were seized.
DANGER IS NOT ENDED
Although we caught many secret cell members in the camp, most of the gang leaders, the danger is not over in Hol Camp. If it stays that way, the danger continues. As long as the international public does not see the Hol Camp as an international problem and finds a suitable solution for the return of foreign nationals to the camp, the danger will continue.
The success of our operation created an atmosphere of stability and rest in the Hol Camp. However, this stability would be temporary without international support. It is time to use this opportunity together and reach a permanent solution.
CAMP IS A THREAT FOR THE WORLD
Terror and violence remain alive. In particular, the rights of children have been taken away and the camp is a threat to the whole world.
As the Internal Security Forces Command, we find it valuable that our forces, QDF, YPG, and YPJ forces professionally continue their efforts to achieve the purpose of the operation.
At the end of the statement, the forces participating in the operation were rewarded by the Internal Security Forces.
