BATMAN - Tens of thousands of people flocking to the festival area in Batman, demanded 'Freedom for Öcalan' with their slogans.

 

Celebrations in the Newroz Area in Batman started with the slogan "Let's resist with the Newroz fire, let's liberate ourselves". Thousands of people flocking to the area in the early hours of the morning are enthusiastically celebrating Newroz. "Newroz is the great revolt of women", "HDP is the people, the people are here", "HDP is hope, hope is standing tall" banners were hung with green, yellow, red, purple, white flags and HDP flags, while the banners like "Newroz be pîroz be" and "Newroz jiyane" were carried by the people. The crowd is often chanting "Bijî Serok Apo", "Bijî berxwedana zindana".

 

While the citizens are being delayed entering the area due to the HES codes due to the pandemic, the citizens added color to the area with their colorful local clothes.
