BURSA - Stating that the speculations about İmralı are the ways AKP resorts to staying in power, Green Left Party VQA member Cahit Kırkazak said: " The isolation is an evil against Turkish society."

PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan has been held in Imrali Type F High Security Prison for 24 years under aggravated isolation conditions. While the isolation of Abdullah Öcalan, who has not been heard from for 25 months, brought along many problems, the government started speculating as it does before every election.

Greens and Future Left Party (Green Left Party) Central Executive Board member and Bursa 1st Region MP candidate, lawyer Cahit Kırkazak, made assessments on the Imrali isolation system and the speculations of the government.

THE AKP HAS RESORTED TO EVERY MEANS NOT TO LOSE

Reminding that the AKP has resorted to every means not to lose power and has held meetings with Abdullah Öcalan at all critical times, Kırkazak said: “The AKP government is a pragmatist and machiavellian government. This is not a principled policy. For example, during the re-election process, the AKP government's debate on whether it met with Mr. Öcalan and could it turn this into an election gain continues in public. In this process, meetings with Mr. Öcalan do not seem sincere. Discussions about the fact that Erdoğan or the AKP government are meeting with Mr. Öcalan during this period are not considered sincere to the Kurdish people and Turkish society. Because there is an election agenda. Otherwise, it should be discussed before and after the election. Suggestions should be sought from Mr. Öcalan regarding social problems. It is clear that this will make great contributions to the democratization of Turkish society.

EFFECTS ON TURKISH POLITICS

Expressing that the discussions of the talks were the result of Abdullah Öcalan's influence on Turkish politics, Kırkazak continued: “As Turkish politics actually relied on his experience and experience, it has played a decisive role. Despite the plus side of this situation, unfortunately, the political power acted in an immoral way and sometimes brought Mr. Öcalan to the agenda as the subject of polarization. This is a great injustice to both the Turkish society, the Kurds and Mr. Öcalan. This is an unethical style of politics.”

Stressing that the isolation is an evil against Turkish society and the prevention of Abdullah Öcalan's contributions to social peace, Kırkazak said:"It is clear that he has significant experience and knowledge, especially in the formation of a democratic constitution."
