Prisoner's release postponed for 3 months

ISTANBUL - Although Rasim Sayın, who is being held in Silivri Prison, completed his execution on May 10, his release was postponed for 3 months on the grounds that he was not doing well.
 
Rasim Sayın, who is being held in Silivri Type L Prison No. 5, was cremated on the grounds that he was not in good behavior, and his release was postponed for another 3 months. Mr. Sayın, who was taken into custody during the raid on his house in Istanbul in 2016, was arrested by the Istanbul 22nd High Criminal Court after being detained for 21 days and sent to Metris Prison on charges of "being a member of a terrorist organization". He was then transferred to Van Type F and then to Silivri Prison.
 
The execution of Mr. Sayın, who was expected to be released on May 10, was burned by the Administrative and Observation Board on the grounds that he was not in good behavior, and was postponed for another 3 months.
 
'THE PRISONER IS NOT TREATED
 
Stating that his brother has health problems, his brother Engin Sayın said: "My brother has a module in his throat. He constantly suffers from it. He says that he is ill, but he is neither taken to the hospital nor given medications. When he is taken, doctors do not treat him."
 
Mentioning the violations of his brother's rights in prison, Mr. Sayın said: “His wards are constantly raided. They are subjected to verbal abuse. Unlawful people are given disciplinary punishments."
