MARDİN - The prisoners in Diyarbakır No. 1 Type T Closed Prison, stating that "repentence, obedience, and submission" were imposed on them with the decisions of the Administration and Observation Board, called for public awareness.

Many prisoners are not released despite completing their executions due to reports of "not being at good conduct" by the Prison Administration and Monitoring Boards. Some prisoners in Diyarbakır No. 1 Type T Closed Prison reacted to the situation by sending a letter to their relatives. It was stated that after the government ended the process carried out under the name of "solution" between 2013 and 2015, violations of rights in prisons increased. The prisoners pointed out the law, which was cited as the reason for burning executions and said: "Prosecutors and directors have been given unlimited powers with this law, and the directors and prosecutors use their powers hostilely against Kurdish-political prisoners, and they are given sentences other than the sentences they have received. The sentence of the convicts whose 30-year sentence expired was 20 years ago. It is being extended again on the basis of a simple disciplinary punishment he has taken."

CALL ON DEMOCRATIC ORGANIZATIONS

Noting that "repentence law, obedience, and submission" were imposed on them, the prisoners said: "While perverts who rape a 6-year-old child are on trial with a 60-year sentence, they have been walking around for years, waving their arms. Those who rob the country go unpunished, but political prisoners are 10 years old, 20 years old, which has no sanction value. He is being punished again through simple disciplinary punishments. The sentences of 8 prisoners were increased within 2 years in the prison. This unlawful and unconscionable sentence was once the work of the AKP judiciary, where it placed dozens of staff in partnership with FETÖ, September 12 and February 28 members, and today it has been the work of the AKP judiciary, in partnership with the MHP. We call on all political parties, non-governmental organizations, democratic circles and peoples in the face of these ill-treatments. Raise your voice against the 'good behavior law' established under the name of 'committees' in prison, which strives to punish, weaken and dishonor people. We invite you to stand with the prisoners of freedom who do not bow to these unlawfulnesses."
