Second military operation against Mount Cudi

SIRNAK - A second military operation was launched against the region where fierce clashes have been taking place in Mount Cudi for 44 days.
 
The Ministry of Interior announced the launch of a new operation on Mount Cudi. In the statement of the ministry, it was stated that the operation against Mount Cudi and Tûşimîya Valley, Şildî Stream in Şırnak was launched with the participation of hundreds of rangers, soldiers and special operations police.
 
On June 1, the Ministry announced that an operation was launched in the Cudi Mountain and Tushimiya Valley region.
 
Eight soldiers lost their lives in the clashes between HPG members and the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) on April 30 on Mount Cudi. On May 1, attacks against the region were launched. On May 11, the villages of Avgamasiya, Serêdehlê and Şilêrît, located at the foot of Mount Cudi, were banned from entery.
 
A second operation was launched today after 44 days of fierce clashes in the region.
