Turkish Armed Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (SIHA) launched a bombardment on Maxmur Refugee Camp in southern Kurdistan, northern Iraq Wednesday noon.
The attack killed three women and left more people wounded, some of whom are in critical conditions.
The bombardment, which targeted the areas where camp residents graze sheep, came after two days of intense reconnaissance activities over the Maxmur region.
In the wake of the attack, a delegation from the Iraqi government has conducted an inspection at the scene.
The delegation has recorded the names of casualties and visited those wounded. The delegation left the camp without making a statement.
