DİYARBAKI- The family who first started the sit in in front of HDP building, ended their sit in. The family who went back home to Eğil is learned to be pressured by the police to go back to the sit in.
Şahap and Feyziye Çetinkaya who did not hear from their son since August 30, claimed that their son was abducted and taken to the mountains to join PKK and started a sit in in front of People's Democratic Party (HDP) Diyarbakır buildingon September 3.
The family went to the police station to inform the police about their missing son after August 30 and the police told them that they should ask HDP about their son. Then the family went to the Provincial building of HDP and started a sit in claiming their son was abducted by HDP.
Later, on September 11, a video footage of their son going to the Diyarbakır bus terminal by himself was broadcasted on TV.
When a relative of the family died on September 11, the family went back to their home town and did not return to the protest. It was learned that the family have been receiving food support ever since and being pressured by unknown people to come back to the sit in.
