İSTANBUL - The families of the military school students who wanted to stage a sit in in front of AKP were blockaded by the police again.
The families of the students of Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) İstanbul Air Force Academy who got arrested after the July 15 Coup attempt continues their demonstrations in front of AKP İstanbul Provincial Presidency building. Provincial building where intensive security measures are taken, was blockaded by police barriers.
The families who gathered in Haliç Park located across the AKP Provincial building, were blocked by the police. Police also did not allow the families including Ayten Güreşçi and Aysel Duran to go to the İstanbul Court house located in Çağlayan. Families stated that they will go to the Human's Rights Association İstanbul Branch.
Mahmure Dereli whose son is in prison, said the police told them that they will arrest them if they keep coming back. Dereli said: "They said they will arrest us. We did not come here to be arrested. We came here to demand our children's rights. Are they afraid of 4 mothers?"
