Statement from YSK President Güven

NEWS DESK - Supreme Board of Elections (YSK) President Sadi Güven announced the number of valid votes, participation rate and the votes candidates recieved while informing about the appeal process.
 
Sadi Güven said: "The number of voters registered to vote were 8 million 925 thousand 063,  valid votes 8 million 746 thousand 464, invalid votes 178 thousand 599. The participation rate was 84.5. Votes received by candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu are 4 million 741 thousand 868 which is  54.21 percent; while the votes recived by Binali Yıldırım are 3 million 935 thousand 453,which is  44.99 percent, Necdet Gökçınar recieved 47 thousand 829 votes, which is 0.55 percent and Mustafa Ilker Yucel recieved 14 thousand 545 votes which is 0.17 percent.All of the votes are entered into the system.
 
Appeal Process: In the ordinary objection process, those who have the right to appeal to the county election board have the right until 15:00 on Tuesday. Our county election board will review the appeal and decide on Thursday until 17:00. The provincial election board will appeal until Friday at 17:00. The provincial election board has two days to respond to objections. Then the candidates have the right to appeal to the Supreme Board of Elections within three days. The appeal process will work like this. "
