HDP Co-Chair Sezai Temelli spoke at her party's weekly group meeting.

 

Temelli mentioning the aggravated isolation of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan said: " Visiting Öcalan is a right of his family.The visitation that is supposed to be on a weekly basis is presented as a blessing. Mr. Öcalan's attorneys have applied 780 times, and rejected 780 times. As long as these applications are rejected we can not speak of justice in this country."

 

Temelli underlining in his speach that to establish peace in Turkey, PKK Leader Öcalan is the first addressee. Temelli who said 'They are trying to kill the hope to peace. We will not let them.', addressed the government and said: " The peopl eof Turkey will find the way to a democratic solution inspite of you."

 

Temelli added: " That is why, today, standing against isolation is a search for democratic solution. That is what Leyla Güven has been telling us, inviting us to this struggle."
