The government announced that they would suspend the hike in France in the face of two weeks of fuel hike protests. French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, said they withdrew the hike on fuel.

 

 Two people were killed in the incidents of fuel-oil protests held in France since 17 November, while 1043 people were injured 222 of them being security staff and 1424 people were detained.

 

The most massive participation from the first day of street action was last Saturday. About 136 thousand people attended the demonstrations in the capital of Paris.

 

 On the other hand, students protesting the education policies of the government organized a blockade action in more than 100 high schools across the country on the first day of the week. The students protested Macron and the government's educational policies in their blockade action.

 

 Due to the actions, these high schools took a break from education.
